Autism Spectrum Disorder (Child) — $1,800.00*

Cognitive Assessment for Intellectual Impairment/Giftedness — $1,200.00

Cognitive assessment using WPPSI-IV, WISC-V (Aus/NZ Version) or WAIS-IV and ABAS-3. Provision of comprehensive diagnostic report.

Non-refundable deposit of $200 required.

No rebates available. Additional consultations for pre/post-test review charged at standard hourly rate.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder — $1,600.00

Complete assessment using Conners 4, BRIEF-2, ABAS-3 and cognitive assessment. Provision of comprehensive diagnostic report.

Non-refundable deposit of $200 required.

No rebates available. Additional consultations for pre/post-test review charged at standard hourly rate.

Specific Learning Disorder (Academic/Learning) Assessment — $1,600.00

Using WIAT-III, ABAS-3, cognitive assessment, and academic achievement review. Provision of comprehensive diagnostic report.

Non-refundable deposit of $200 required.

No rebates available. Additional consultations for pre/post-test review charged at standard hourly rate.

Travel: Charged as percentage of hourly rate for time taken to travel to client location.

ABA Program Maintenance Fees – Charged per Semester (Jan–Jun / Jul–Dec)

You do not need a referral to access services unless you are interested in accessing government rebates or funding (i.e., Medicare Rebates). Only specific services with Registered Psychologists and the Clinical Director are eligible for rebates with current Mental Health Care Plans.

Medicare

In consultation with your General Practitioner, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist, you may obtain a referral that enables you to receive rebates from Medicare for psychology sessions. The current Medicare rebate for standard psychology sessions with approved Medicare providers at the Clinic is $98.85.

Private Health Funds

Most private health funds offer rebates on psychological, speech and occupational services if the client has ancillary or extras cover. Rebates vary depending on your fund and your level of cover. Please contact your health fund for the latest rebate information and to access your entitlements.

NDIS

Caterpillar Clinic is a registered provider with the NDIA and approved to provide supports listed under Early Intervention Supports for Early Childhood, and Therapeutic Supports. Clients can be Agency, Plan, or self-managed.

All participants are required to attend an Initial Consultation after which a Service Agreement will be completed specifying supports to be provided, frequency, and total cost. A Support Plan will be provided which details the agreed goals, timeframe for attaining goals, and measures of success.

All of our service fees are below price limits outlined in the NDIS Price Guide 2025–2026 (released November 2025). NDIS fees are slightly higher than standard service fees to cover the additional costs associated with being a registered NDIS provider, to recognise the increased complexity and time needed to adapt psychological supports for children with neurological and cognitive challenges, and the additional physical resources often required to facilitate sessions with NDIS participants.

As the whole hour (or more) is reserved for you when you make an appointment, we require at least 48 hours’ notice should you wish to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer your appointment to clients on our waitlist. Cancellation fees apply. Any cancellation fee charged must be paid prior to booking any subsequent sessions.

Sessions are payable via the encrypted Halaxy software package using credit card, PayID or bank account details. NDIS claims are made dependent on your payment arrangements and Service Agreement.

Please note that rebates and fees are subject to an annual increase.
